- Multiple contact methods including WhatsApp
- Fast loading despite rich imagery
- Budget constraint: Use only free/freemium tools
Our Solution
Design Approach
We chose a single-page layout with smooth scroll navigation – perfect for a showcase site with a linear user journey. The design features:
Color Palette:
- Forest Green (#2D5C3F) – trust and nature
- Bright Green (#28A745) – highlights available puppies
- Light backgrounds (#E8F5E9) – clean, professional
Why Green? It reflects nature, health, and trustworthiness – exactly what responsible dog breeders represent.

Header (Sticky) → Hero → Our Dogs → Our Bitches → Available Puppies ⭐

The Available Puppies section is the star – designed for maximum conversions with:
- Status badges (Available/Reserved/Expected) using color psychology
- Detailed puppy cards with age, gender, breed, pricing
- “Enquire Now” buttons linking directly to contact
2. Smart Technical Choices
Platform: WordPress + Elementor Free
Why? Client can update content themselves without coding
Performance Optimization:
- Compressed all images to <300KB
- Implemented lazy loading
- Used WP Fastest Cache
- Result: 90+ PageSpeed score on shared hosting
3. Mobile-First Design
Since most pet buyers research on mobile, we prioritized:
- Responsive 3-column → 1-column layouts

Problem: Elementor Free doesn’t have a responsive menu widget

- Desktop: Custom Icon List widget (horizontal layout)
- Mobile: Responsive Menu plugin (hamburger menu)
- Both hidden/shown at correct breakpoints
Challenge 2: SEO Schema Markup
Problem: Client requested FAQ schema for Google rich results
Solution: Used WPCode plugin to safely add JSON-LD to <head> without touching page design
